Getting Started

How do I create an account?

  1. Click "Register" in the top navigation
  2. Choose whether you're a Buyer or Seller
  3. Fill in your personal and company information
  4. Verify your email address
  5. Complete your profile to start trading

What information do I need to register?

  • Full name and email address
  • Company name and business type
  • Business address and phone number
  • Tax ID (RFC for Mexico, EIN for USA)
  • Valid business license (for verification)

How is my account verified?

We verify all business accounts to maintain marketplace integrity. This includes:

  • Email verification (immediate)
  • Business document review (24-48 hours)
  • Phone verification for sellers
  • Address verification for high-volume traders

Is there a fee to join?

Registration is completely FREE for all users. Buyers never pay any fees. Sellers only pay when creating listings. See our pricing page for details.

Buying Guide

How do I search for products?

  • Use the search bar to find specific products
  • Filter by product type, price, location, and grade
  • Sort results by price, quantity, or date listed
  • Save searches to get alerts for new matches

How do I contact a seller?

  1. Click on a listing to view details
  2. Click "Send Inquiry" or "Make Offer"
  3. Include quantity needed and delivery requirements
  4. Negotiate terms directly with the seller
  5. Finalize transaction details off-platform

What are buying requirements?

Post your specific needs and let sellers come to you! Create a requirement specifying:

  • Product type and specifications
  • Quantity and frequency needed
  • Target price range
  • Delivery location and timeline

How are payments handled?

AlpeFresh does NOT process payments between buyers and sellers. All financial transactions are handled directly between parties using their preferred methods (wire transfer, check, etc.). We recommend establishing payment terms before confirming orders.

Selling Guide

How do I create a listing?

  1. Go to Dashboard → Create Listing
  2. Select product type and enter details
  3. Upload quality photos (up to 5-10 depending on plan)
  4. Set pricing and available quantity
  5. Choose listing duration and publish

Important: Inventory Rules

⚠️ Critical Rules for Fresh Produce:

  • Inventory can ONLY decrease, never increase
  • All listings expire after 10 days maximum
  • Cannot restock existing listings
  • Must create new listing for new inventory

What can I update after posting?

You can modify:

  • ✓ Price per unit
  • ✓ Description and specifications
  • ✓ Reduce available quantity
  • ✓ Delivery terms

You cannot:

  • ✗ Increase quantity
  • ✗ Extend expiry date
  • ✗ Change product type

How do listing fees work?

We use a credit-based system. Purchase credits in advance, then use them to create listings. Different listing types consume different credit amounts. Credits never expire. See pricing details.

Safety & Trust

How do I trade safely?

  • Verify business credentials before trading
  • Start with small test orders for new partners
  • Use secure payment methods with recourse
  • Document all agreements in writing
  • Check seller ratings and history
  • Report suspicious activity immediately

What if something goes wrong?

While AlpeFresh facilitates connections, we don't participate in transactions. However:

  • Report problematic users to our team
  • We investigate fraud reports thoroughly
  • Bad actors are permanently banned
  • Consider legal recourse for contract disputes

How do reviews work?

After completing a transaction, both parties can leave reviews. Reviews help build trust and reputation in the marketplace. Be honest and professional in your feedback.

Account Management

How do I reset my password?

  1. Click "Login" then "Forgot Password"
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Check email for reset link
  4. Create a new secure password

How do I update my profile?

Go to Dashboard → Profile Settings to update:

  • Contact information
  • Company details
  • Notification preferences
  • Language settings

Can I switch between buyer/seller?

Yes! Many users are both buyers and sellers. Your account type determines your primary dashboard view, but you can access all features regardless of initial selection.

How do I delete my account?

To close your account, contact support at notificaciones@alpefresh.app. Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Images not uploading?

  • Check file size (max 5MB per image)
  • Use JPEG, PNG, or WebP formats
  • Disable browser extensions
  • Clear browser cache and cookies
  • Try a different browser

Can't log in?

  • Check CAPS LOCK is off
  • Verify you're using correct email
  • Try password reset if unsure
  • Clear browser cookies for this site
  • Contact support if account may be locked
